gutmanfamily.org A French poem in parody of La Fontaine's fable of the Crow and the Fox. This was apparently written by a fellow inmate of my parents in the refugee camp in Lausanne where they found themselves after their escape from occupied France in 1944. It's dedicated to my mother as the "clever illustrator" of the piece, and gives a humorous twist to the restrictive conditions in the camp ...
